Fishermen in Sangana area of Akassa community in Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State caught a dolphin while fishing on Monday, February 21.

However, it was gathered that the dolphin died while they were trying to put it back into the water shortly after it was caught.

Some netizens have advised the fishermen no to butcher the dolphin and wait to see if some foreign explorer will come and buy it from them for a huge amount of money.

A twitter user, Kingsman Ani Olali, took to the microblogging platform to share photos of the huge dolphin and the fishermen that caught it.
