Recall that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu filed a ₦5b lawsuit against the Federal Government and the Department of State Services for the incessant violation of his fundamental human rights.
Speaking ahead of the suit, Barrister Aloy Ejimakor , special counsel to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who led Kanu’s legal team, said that they’re here at the Abia state court, to receive the judgement of the court, in the violation of Kanu’s human rights, which he filed on the 27th of August 2021.

He also disclosed that it was the destruction of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s homestead by the armed forces of Nigeria, which led to Kanu fleeing to Kenya, and his ultimate extra-ordinary rendition to Nigeria.
Bar Aloy said that these are they issues that was brought to the court and he hopes that they will be determined finally today, he also maintained his readiness and that of him team to see this through.
