Ballon D’Or 2021 – at least these 15 players are making their debut to the Ballon D’Or nomination this year since their career as professional football players. This is the first time they have been nominated for the Ballon d’Or since their careers in the professional male football categories.
The organizers released a 30-man shortlist for this year’s event last week. Half of those who made the list have never been nominated for one of football’s most prestigious personal honors.

There is no doubt that some of these players will become regulars nominees among the Ballon d’Or or even go ahead to win the award for themselves. However, for others, this could prove to be the high point of their career and for now, Paris Saint-Germain superstar, Lionel Messi, is favourite to take home with the prize when it is handed out on November 29. despite vouching to vote for his teammates, Mbappe and Neymar Jr.
