Argentine and former Barcelona star Loinel Messi has disclosed he would vote for Kylian Mbappe and Neymar who are his PSG team-mates for this year’s Ballon d’Or. Messi who recently score his epic first goal for his new club became a PSG player after making a move from Barcelona in the last transfer window.

Messi, Mbappe and Neymar, alongside fellow teammate goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma were among the Ballon d’Or 2021 30-players shortlisted for the men’s award. The event which whould have held last year to the best performed footballer of the year is set for a return this year 2021 after being puhsed a year ahead in 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Fotball fans all over the world alread have their favorite players in mind, and 34years old Lionel Messi is on the minds of many as the top prize winner, putting him ahead of the likes of Robert Lewandowski and Jorginho in the bookmakers’ odds. But the Argentine star announced today that he would vote for his new team-mates Mbappe and Neymar, despite being one of the favourite to win the award for a seventh time.

‘Obviously I have two players in my team that I would vote for, Ney and Kylian,’ Messi told L’Equipe via RMC Sport. The former Barcelona superstar also admitted that Lewandowski and Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema have enjoyed good seasons individually, while explaining the importance of winning major trophies.
