Anambra state Commissioner for Women’s Affairs Rescues Chikamnayo Olisaemeka From his Abusive Aunty (Video)

Mrs Ify Obinabo, the Anambra state Commissioner for Women and Children Affairs, together with her team, has rescued young Chikamayo Olisaemeka, a native of Umuezena Umudim Nnewi, who is a victim of abusive aunt, (Uncle’s Wife)




The commissioner disclosed that the guardians will be charged to court and that boy has also been sent to an undisclosed hospital for medical attention and medical treatment.



Speaking on the plight of the boy, she disclosed that her office rescued the boy after some residents took the boy’s case, moved him from Onitsha to Awka.



Speaking to journalists, Chikamayo Olisaemeka, who said that his parents lives in Owerri Imo state, disclosed that his uncle, Oluchukwu, (his mom’s brother) and his wife Ebere, usually starve him and on some days feeds him once a day.




Explaining the marks on his body, Chikamnayo said that it has become a norm for him to be severely punished with a heated electric iron when he does anything wrong. He added that he’s been living with the man and his wife since February and have not been going to school.



“I have not been enrolled in any school since I came to Onitsha in February. My auntie, Ebere has the habit of beating me with sharp objects at the slightest provocation.”
