The school management of Abia State University, Uturu, has banned its students from driving their personal cars into the school campus.

This was contained in a memo signed by school registrar, Dr. Acho Elendu  and published published on the school notice board.

The notice reads that the ban is to cut down on the rate students drive cars into the school as a display of wealth.

The notice also states that only staffs and visitors should be allowed into the school premises with their private cars.
