Abdullahi Musa Askira, Borno Deputy Speaker Narrates how ISWAP Terrorists burnt down their home

Abdullahi Musa, Deputy Speaker of Borno State House of Assembly, has finally spoken out and narrated the ordeal of  how suspected fighters of the Islamic State West Africa Provinces (ISWAP) rampaged and razed down his elder brother’s house during a fresh attack.

 
 

Abdulahi Askira while speaking to Daily Trust;  disclosed that the sad incident occurred after ISWAP terrorists carried out an attack on Chan Chan Dana Community in Askira Uba local government area of the state on Wednesday November 10. In his words;

 

“There was an attack by insurgents in my hometown yesterday, they razed down the house of my late elder brother who was the village head before he passed in 2020.

 
 
 
 

“I’m the one who built it for him; but it’s not my house… Before they came to attack my village earlier in the day, troops had gone to their enclave and dislodge them.

 
 
 

So, it is unfortunate that they still struck. However, we shall continue to support our troops who are working to ensure there is peace in our domain.”
