Police DPO, Ibrahim Aliyu Ishaq who was abducted by unknown gun men towards the last weeks of November has regained his freedom from his captors.

After his arrest, the Edo state Commissioner of police, Philip Ogbadu, ordered men of the Anti-Kidnapping and Cyber Crime unit, men of the Tactical and Strike teams of the state police command to put heads together and find out the people behind the abduction of the DPO.
The were also charged with the recusing of the DPO Ibrahim Aliyu Ishaq, who before his kidnap, was the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Fugar division in Edo state.
During investigation, some suspects were arrested, the answers they provided during their interrogation and confession concerning the abduction of CSP Ibrahim Aliyu Ishaq, led to the freedom of the DPO, unhurt.
Confirming this development to newsmen, the PPRO of the state command, SO Kontongs Bello, said;
