According to an interview with Lindaikejisblog, the family said the little girl was abducted from the Agege Oke-Oba area in Lagos while she went to a naming ceremony with her family on Tuesday, March 1.
It was gathered that the naming ceremony was her brother’s, so Fatima’s mother, Rashidat who was looking after her daughter during the ceremony, left the little girl with other kids playing inside the compound to join other relatives in serving food to their guests.
Later in the evening, after all the guests had been attended to, Rashidat returned to discover her daughter was no longer with other kids. She called the child’s father Idowu Kamir to ask if he left with their daughter, but he didn’t.
