95-Year-old Queen Elizabeth II Tests Positive for Covid

95-year-old Queen Elizabeth II, the Britain’s  supreme monarch, has tested positive for COVID with “mild” symptoms.

 

 

The Buckingham Palace said in a statement on Sunday that the queen 95-year-old British monarch will continue with light duties.

 

 

“She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines – The statement added

 

 

 

 

The queen has received three jabs of coronavirus vaccine.

 

 

Both her eldest son Prince Charles and daughter-in-law Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall have also recently contracted COVID-19.

 

 

The queen tested positive for covid weeks after th longest-reigning monarch reached her historic Platinum Jubilee of 70 years on the throne on February 6, 2022.
