Operatives of the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad arrested a serial thief suspect named Jamiu Isiaka,. The suspect, was caught in the act by RRS Decoy Team at Alausa pedestrian bridge, Olowopopo Way, Ikeja has been sentenced to 4months behind bars.

 

Jamiu Isiaka, (20 years old) was nabbed when the officers who were on patrol of the area on the directive of the Commander, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, intercepted the suspect who did not know he was being monitored by the policemen in a civilain dress.

 
 
 

During civil interrogation, Isiaka confessed that he had been stealing phones and wallets from unsuspecting individuals whenever he  visits different parts of the city, which he does almost everyday.

 
 

On the orders of the State Commissioner, the suspect was charged to mobile court and sentenced to 4 months imprisonment.
